She's in the Manila (Philippines) and I'm in the Los Angeles (California ) area. And yes, ~very~ long distance relationships can (and do) work, but it takes both of you to be all in the relationship. And you have to have trust in, faith in and belief in each other... I won't sit here and tell you it's been easy. The truth is it's not been easy, and with the bumps in the road and obstacles we've faced, it's taken us places on both an emotional and spiritual level I don't think either of us have ever been before...
